CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS AMONG ALL members of Cary Academy develop through shared learning experiences, common interests, and personal interactions inside and outside of the classroom. Group and team-building activities such as class trips, school dances, and spirit weeks augment these bonds.

Arts
An extensive Fine Arts program complements the students' daily activities with a chance to experiment with creativity and self-expression. The arts curriculum provides new forms of self-expression while building the foundation of basic techniques and strengthening inner creative skills.

Athletics
Athletics are an integral part of the comprehensive program at Cary Academy. The independent school environment gives students an opportunity for athletic experience. Faculty and coaches promote life-long health, fitness, and wellness. Through team and individual sports, students, develop a healthy respect for daily exercise, competition, team camaraderie, and the rewards of good sportsmanship. 

Clubs
The clubs and organizations at Cary Academy offer students the opportunity to acquire new abilities, engage in self-expression, develop leadership skills, share interests, and provide service to the community. Whether the club involves aviation and aerial photography, school government, beta club, step team, dance club, or web site design, the diversity among the organizations allows students to broaden their horizons and experiment with new ideas.
