The Administration Building combines the atmosphere of a traditional classical reading room with the technological resources of a state-of-the-art multimedia educational facility.

Key features of the Media Center include: a goal of more than 16,000 volumes of books; complete automated catalog system accessible from a student's desktop; media retrieval system linked to classrooms and desktops including video, audio, Internet, DATV and email; and a reading room with integrated technology to accommodate all multimedia learning system capabilities.

The Technology Center offers capabilities for data, voice, and video technology systems. These technology-based systems can be integrated into the classroom curriculum. A full-time technical staff is be available to assist with hardware and software support.

A Telecommunication Classroom with a seating capacity of 50 provides capabilities for telecommuting presentations -- distance learning, video/audio recording, or multimedia -- from Cary or elsewhere in the world.

The Video/Audio Broadcast Journalism Suite on the second floor houses equipment to enable staff and students to develop skills and presentations. In addition, it supports campus activities such as Cary Academy Student Television and other interschool communications.
