CARY ACADEMY IS an  independent, coed, college- preparatory day school for students in grades 6-12. Committed to discovery, innovation, collaboration and excellence, the school is located on a 52-acre campus in the heart of the dynamic Research Triangle. Cary Academy began its inaugural year in August, 1997, with 250 students in grades 6-10. The Academy now has 711 students in the 2006-2007 academic year and will see its eighth senior class graduate in May.  Cary Academy’s goal is to create a learning environment that will serve as a model for all schools in its use of technology to support student and teacher learning, skill development, and creativity.
