Rubin qualifies for two national golf tourneys

CA golfer Taelor Rubin ('11) has qualified for the US Junior Girls' Championship and US Women's Amateur.
She qualified for the US Junior Girls' Championship in Williamsburg, VA, at Fords Colony shooting a 73 and placing second out of 68 girls. This was the second year in a row she qualified for the championship. Rubin played in this event June 19 and 20, but she missed the cut for match play.
Rubin also qualified for the US Women's Amateur in Lexington at Sapona Country Club shooting an even par 72. This event will take place at Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte on Aug. 9.
Rubin is going to play golf at Ole Miss.
