Welcome to Summer Quest 2008!  We would like to invite your child to join us for a summer full of adventure, creativity, fitness, and friendships.  

Over the past 10 years, CA Summer Quest has created a unique niche serving the students in the surrounding community. Our camps allow your child to have fun, broaden his/her horizons and learn something new in a caring and supportive environment. Our instructors are chosen not only for their expertise and passion but also for their ability to work with children and bring their camp subject alive in a way that is engaging and entertaining. Our facilities are state-of-the-art, our resources and supplies are top-notch, and our students to teacher ratios are exceptional! 

THE STAFF
Cary Academy’s Summer Quest Program is staffed by Cary Academy instructors and special guests from the community. These professionals bring a variety of talents and experience to the program. Look in our Biography section for details.

BEFORE AND AFTER CAMP CARE - Before, Lunch and After Care is offered for campers rising into 1st grade and up.
Cary Academy offers extended care to meet the needs of today’s active families. Extended care activities will include options such as playing board games, reading books or participating in recreational activities in a supervised environment. The central location for drop-off is in the Sports and Education Annex (SEA building).

BEFORE CAMP CARE
Campers may arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. Parents are required to sign their camper into Before Care. Summer Quest Staff will be there to greet campers and will walk campers safely to their registered morning program.

AFTER CAMP CARE
The afternoon program will include a healthy snack and supervised structured and unstructured activities. If you are picking your child up please come into the SEA building. You will be asked to sign your child out for the day. Please Note: If you pick-up after 6:00 p.m., there will be a $1.00 per minute late pickup charge that is to be paid before the child can return the next day.

LUNCHES
Campers staying the full day should bring a bag lunch and beverage with a cooler pack. No refrigeration is available. Vending Machines are available containing juices, soft drinks and a variety of snacks. Supervised dining facilities will be provided.

PICK - UP AND DROP - OFF
Campers are to be dropped off and picked up promptly at the classroom, or designated camp location. Cary Academy does not provide supervision before or after camp, unless signed up for the before or after camp care program. Campers will not be permitted to leave campus unless written permission is received from the parent/guardian. Camp locations and a campus map will be sent with your confirmation packet.

HOW TO REGISTER
We encourage early registration since registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and many fill up fast. Waiting lists will be maintained for camps and workshops that have reached full capacity. Full payment is required with registration;

There are three ways to register for Cary Academy Summer Programs:

  • Fill out the enclosed registration form and mail with payment to: Cary Academy Summer Quest, 1500 North Harrison Avenue, Cary, NC 27513.

  • Drop off the enclosed registration form and payment at the reception desk in the Administration Building weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

  • Fax registration form to 919-677-8832. Fax machine is located in a secure location in our Business Office.

PAYMENT METHODS
Cary Academy Summer Programs will accept cash (for exact amount), checks, money order, or by Visa, Master Card or Discover as payment. Checks should be made payable to Cary Academy. Please do not send cash through the mail. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, the parent will have five business days from notification by Cary Academy to bring in payment by cash, cashiers check or money order. After that, the camper will be removed from registration. There is a $40.00 charge for insufficient funds, which must also be paid at this time.

REFUND POLICY
All summer programs require a minimum enrollment; you will be notified at least two weeks prior to the start date in the event the program must be cancelled. Program fees are fully refundable when the program is cancelled by Cary Academy. Otherwise, program fees are refundable as follows:

  1. Cancellations received in writing on or before April 30th will be entitled to a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee per program.

  2. Cancellations received on or after May 1st will only be entitled to a refund (less the applicable cancellation fee) if the camper’s spot can be filled per program.

  3. There will be no refunds if cancellation takes place after the program starts or if a camper is temporarily or permanently suspended from a program due to failure to follow program guidelines.

  4. Full or prorated refunds will be provided in the event of a verified medical/hardship situation.
