Science Olympiad starts the season off right.

Earlier this month, both MS and US Science Olympiad Teams competed in their first tournament of the season, the NCSO Raleigh Regional Tournament. Overall, The MS varsity team earned an 8th-place trophy! The Upper School varsity team placed 6th overall- earning a bid to the state tournament, which will take place on April 12-13 at NCSU. Cary Academy’s Upper School team also won the first-ever Division C Conen Morgan Spirit Award. Nominations noted our students’ friendliness, politeness, thankfulness, and willingness to help other teams by lending materials and giving advice. See a full list of finishes below:
