Velu (’18) wins Gold Award

Anjali Velu (’18) has earned the Gold Award, the highest accolade awarded to a Girl Scout.

Velu worked in conjunction with NCTRC (North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center) for over a year to develop outreach programs and workshops that showcased the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with special needs and veterans coping with PTSD or other disorders.
