Earth Day Celebration
Middle School Earth Day Celebration
Join us for a joyful and creative celebration of our beautiful planet! Students will rotate through four interactive activity tables, each designed to spark curiosity, connection, and care for the Earth:
️ Sidewalk Chalk Art – Transform our walkways into vibrant murals that celebrate nature, conservation, and the beauty of the world around us.
Giant Map Puzzle & Flag Making – Piece together a massive world map and design flags that represent eco-heroes, endangered ecosystems, or hopeful visions for the planet’s future.
✉️ Advocacy Letter Writing – Make your voice heard! Craft letters to your North Carolina state representatives about environmental causes that matter to you.
Nature Observation Station – Get up close with flowers and plants as you sketch, take notes, and make quiet observations about the wonders of the natural world.
And don’t miss a visit from the one and only Poetry Fox! With a typewriter and a flair for the poetic, he’ll be on-site crafting custom Earth-inspired poems on demand. Bring your best nature-themed word, and let the Poetry Fox turn it into verse right before your eyes!
Let’s celebrate, explore, and advocate for the Earth—together.
