Cary Academy Arts Department, in collaboration with the Development Office, is thrilled to invite you to CA’s first-ever dinner theater, “A Taste of the Arts: Celebrating the Creativity of our Community.” This unique fundraising initiative is dedicated to nurturing our vibrant arts department and enhancing our students’ creative experience. Check our website to learn more about the event, how you can be involved, and be sure to save the date – October 4-7!
The Red Cross Club is hosting Cary Academy’s first blood drive of the year, in partnership with the American Red Cross High School Blood Program. By partaking in the opportunity, we hope to not only raise awareness for the need of blood, but also to encourage students, teachers, and faculty to donate! You can make a difference in the lives of hospital patients in our area and across the nation in response to the National Blood Crisis.
Mark your calendars! Friday September 22 is a whole school tailgating, food-truck extravaganza! Starting at 3:30, parents are invited to join their child after school to watch all kinds of sporting events (see calendar for game schedule) enjoy a balloon artist, and play lawn games. PTAA is hosting this fabulous afternoon. You may want to send some spending money with them on Friday for the food trucks that afternoon: about $10-20 is my recommendation. It’s not required, but the food trucks will be selling their food and it is delicious.
3:30 Two food trucks parked by the soccer fields, balloon artist and face painter. Parents welcome to join their children for the fun!
5:00-7:30 Free S’mores in the quad, lawn games, balloon artist, face painter
