Time Commitments

Each area and/or position at Cary Academy has its own normal working hours that are determined primarily by specific work responsibilities.  Given this, time commitments are specific to your position and are established by your supervisor and/or the Head of School.

From time to time, social or non-school-related events are organized for fellow employees.  Examples have been showers, yoga classes, birthday parties, happy hours, etc.  These are all important events that build community and raise spirits.  Recognizing that faculty are expected to be available after school until 3:45 p.m. to provide extra help for students and that staff responsibilities extend to at least that time as well, employees are asked not to begin these events until at least 3:45 p.m.
